need help in espresso Android Testing while loading data in splash activity ??

i need help in espresso Testing .

• I want to test login and signup flow but before calling loginActivity and signupActivity .
• I want to load all data in DB which currently i am doing in splash activity now how can i call splash activity and after
  loading all data it redirect to loginActivity or signupActivity ??
