Is there an easy way to automate the testing of the reachability of several applications from different network locations? I have a list of applications (most of them are web facing so they can be checked in a browser) that I would like to test from different locations to see if they are reachable or not.
I have started to put together a Selenium IDE test suite, but I don't know if thats the right direction. In addition to that, I have several applications that do not have web frontend but a client, so I cannot use browser to check if I can reach them.
