Geb: jquery property of Navigator

I am almost new to Geb and do not know many thing on it. I found the below code snippet:

 $(".popup", 0).jquery.show();

I searched in HERE but did not find the jquery property and the show() method as well.

Can some one help me find it How it works? And where these jquery and show() method are defined?
