Appium C# sendkeys fot edittext under button in android device

My page include edittext and button. When the button is clicked there is a popup with msg. I try to use sendkeys C# function to insert text into edittext, there is a popup twice and the text is not inserted. How can i set text to edittext C#. Pls help
