Difference between using Java and Python for Automation Testing [on hold]

Currently I'm a Software Manual Tester but I would to start learning Automation testing soon, however, I don't know which language would be better to use for Automation testing with Selenium? And what is the difference between using Java or Python for it?

Also, which language would be useful for the future?
