Which test framework is better to use: Appium-Selenium-Cucumber or Appium-Selenium-TesNG?

I'm currently writing tests using Appium with Selenium and TestNG on Java when I came across an e-book where it uses Cucumber with Appium for tests. One of my problems with it is I can't seem to find a good reporting feature for it unlike when I tried Calabash before.

I'm only new to test automations. So which one is better

• for generating readable reports?
• for long term use?
