how to start with protractor automation tool to test angularJS applications for beginners?

I am a beginner to start with protractor automation tool. I want to explore this tool. What are the basic requirements to learn protractor with javascript? is there any need to learn Mocha, karma and jasmine knowledge before starting protractor.
