What is the best ML algorithm for object identification (frequently changing object) in automation testing?

I am a tester working on selenium. I will perform automation on my web application using xpath. During developement developer changes the elements(tags, attributes) frequently. So i have to rewrite xpaths every time. Is there any machine learning algorithm that would identify changed elements approximately based on previous results.
