How to generate Pact test automatically

I am new with Pact, I wonder if there is a way to write or automate the creation of Pact files ? instead of doing it manually? Or those who have already more experience, how do you do it? you write every endpoint one by one?

I read that using a swagger yaml file, is not a good alternative ...

Any suggestions? is I have a java project
