Switching from QA to Development

As a guy who used to be quality assurance engineer (manual, automation) and made the switch to backend development, I'm currently doing a research on how one could help making this career switch a lot easier for busy QAs like you and me. ;)

I know you can face a lot of obstacles and problems during these changes. And if you work as a quality assurance engineer now, you might have a lot of reasons why you would want to make this change. At least that's what bothered me a long time.

Which is why I have two very simple questions, to ones I would be happy to hear your answers:

1. As quality assurance engineer what are the 2 biggest issues you’re dealing with? (Not only in terms of work you have to do, but overall experience in QA job position)
2. Regarding your current job, what would you wish for more than anything else?
