Newest methodology for software engineering and software testing

I dont know many methodology so can you guys help me? because i need it for my final project in my university. The methodology that i know are scrum and RUP (Rational Unified Process). So may be you know more than that. Can you tell me about that. Because it will really help me for my final project. Thank you
