What is the best practice to test a message queue protocol?

Hello I'm need to testing some microservices using NestJS, and we're using a RabbitMQ server communicate between services. I'm new on this, so, in trying to find the best way, best practices, tools or maybe example of how i can to test a bunch of micro services using message queue transport.
