Does HBaseTestingUtility support AsyncClient?

Recently wanted to migrate some of our codebase to HBaseAsyncClient interfaces. But the HbaseTestingUtility doesn't seem to support AsyncClient. Can someone confirm that there's no support and any recommendation to overcome the issue would be much appreciated.
