ETL testing scenarios for incremental data

could you please list down the test scenarios for incremental data.

I am clear with fresh load as all the data will be loaded into target table but apart from normal insert,update and delete what are the test scenarios for incremental data like should we check data after inserting records from back date or future date? Please suggest any other miscellaneous scenarios to be tested.
