How to show test fail in CI/CD

I am very new to CI/CD and I am using gitlab CI/CD for testing the R packages with tests using testthat.

I was happy to see the gree tick mark when ever the tests were successfull, but I am also receiving the green tick mark when the tests are failed.

Can anyone help, how to tract the failure of testthat in R to control if its green or red!
