NodeJS Emails Saved To File When Sent From Server

I use the mailtodisk from XAMPP and I have used Test Mail Server Tool utility when using XAMPP so when I have a PHP script that sends out an email, it will not send the email out into cyberspace but it will save it on my computer so I can read it and ensure it is correct.

How does one set this up when working with NodeJS, I cannot find any tutorials on this. I want to have this setup for my development testing environment set.
