Testing Strategy for Frontend

I am working on a software project with Angular in frontend and Spring Boot in backend with a friend. As I am responsible for the frontend, I would like to ask you for you opinion, how to properly create a testing strategy with the possibilities an Angular project has to offer. I started using Cypress for UI tests, but I see too that Karma was being used from the start for Unit Testing. But do you think unit testing is meaningful to the frontend, where barely any application & process logic should be implemented?
