Which direction to choose in the development of Automation testing or iOS?

Recently, a very important question for me arose - should I go to automation (Python), or to iOS development?

To begin with, why is AQA on Python? I've been a Manual QA for 3.5 years already, and yet I want to grow into a more technical rather than management + I like Python and I write some parsers and bots for myself. Therefore, I am considering automation in Python.

Why iOS? There are not so many specialists in this field (in comparison with AQA) + I have the latest Macbook Air on m1 chip, so there are no problems with the hardware and software + Swift is quite similar to Python as for me

The issue of salary is also very important - soon there will be a third child, and the salary of the Manual QA will not be so useful. In our company, we have free courses in that specialties , but study in each will take same time - 4 months. On the one hand, it is easier to switch from the Manual to automation and leave the - + level of the Middle's salary, but that's for now, but under equal conditions, iOS still get more (like most devs). But there is a fear that after switching to iOS, my salary in the company will be veeery low ( as i think so will be Junior)
