React-utils vs selenium-webdriver for unit tests of a React based frontend

Can someone give a run down and the pros/cons of using react-utils vs selenium-webdriver for testing a React based frontend?

Is one highly recommended over the other? Is selenium-webdriver more comprehensive since it runs in a browser? Is react-utils faster because it doesn't require a full browser?
