Testing App Indexing API on emulator, no message from log

I've followed the guide to implement App Indexing API in my Android app here (http://ift.tt/29BYQJe) Then I want to test so, I follow the steps instructed in this page (http://ift.tt/29vF55F)

There's no error or exception occurs. But, somehow I don't get any message shown in the log related to "appindex".

I have used SDK version higher than 23. Should I download the Google API for the SDK first?
