Is it best practice to capture SQA efforts as tasks as part of a Product Backlog Item

In Azure Devops we split the individual steps that need to be completed to fulfill a PBI into tasks. Currently we only do that for our development efforts. Of course that also includes writing Unit and Integration tests that the developers need to write. Now we have a separate Testing group (SQA) that basically come in after a PBI has been developed and verify whether all business requirements are met and test the stability of the code. We also would like to capture the efforts this group needs to perform. Would you recommend that this group creates basically one task for each PBI titled something like "verify functionality" or are there better ways in Azure DevOps to capture work efforts of an SQA team?
