When manual and automated testing should be done in Trunk Based Development?

We have a team with developers, QA automation and manual testers. We have Feature Branch flow and now want to try TBD. We use branches to develop feature and create pull request from fork to main repo. After code review manual tester review branch in main repo, approve and QA prepare automation tests. After that we merge branch into master. With TBD when and how should we do manual and automation testing?
