Re-use software stability test plans or test cases

I developed a networking app., but i need some ideas for tests i can do, so i'm interested to reuse test plans or test cases, things that are ore OS related, like sending a sigterm to the app or introducing some jitter on the ethernet interface of the local hsost, these kind of tests, any suggestions ?
