Perform Automation Testing on multiple mobile devices on Macbook iphone android

I want to perform mobile automation on multiple devices like iPhone Android on IOS laptop but worries about the performance issues like slowness. I am just wondering if anyone have faced the issues to test on multiple devices? If yes what are those?
