Master's Thesis - Software Test Automation

I'd like to write my master's thesis about Software Test Automation. But I cannot decide what exactly I should study about Automation Frameworks.

Currently, I'm only learning about different software testing approaches and I have a little experience with Katalon Studio (KDD) and Selenium WebDriver.

So, it would be great if you could provide some ideas about interesting and actual topics for master's thesis in software automation testing.
