Swift, XCTest possbile to verify that the test open another application?

So I have a simple application coded in Swift that has a feature to send text message to a number. What happens when you press "send text message" is that the application opens up the "message" application on the phone and autofills the phone number. Is it possible to test that the "message" application was opened successfully?
