We provision new infrastructure/environment using Ansible on our local servers (I mean no cloud). We provision a new VM and we install PostgreDB in it on demand from different projects. I am wondering if there is any way to test this infrastructures in an automated way. We would also like to have those test cases reside and versioned on Git, and as part of CI/CD execute those test cases periodically/on commit/nightly, etc.
So to summarise, is there such framework to write automated test cases to check infrastructures?
