Best practices on creating Test Strategy / Test plan for the project / new features / cross-team feature?

trying to get some information on what other companies, Quality Engineers do when it comes to creating Test Strategy / Test Plan?

Besides all the basic stuff like: test cases, deadlines, POC's, test accounts, test sessions and devices.

Anything in particular you do differently to cover testing for new features?
