Difficulties in finding research topic specially in software testing

Hello to every body.

I'm a fresh student of MS Software engineeering with no industrial experince. I am facing problem to select a research topic. My area of concentration is Software Testing. Is their anyone who can suggest me some topics and what kind of techniques I should need to learn to gather information related to the topic. Also let me know if there is some related links or tools which i need to study. Please give your suggestions and related materials i will be grateful.
