Quick and dirty for autotesting PHP files

I have created integrations using PHP helping my organisation automating a lot of tasks. But I need to set up some kind of auto test that is able to test the files once a day and give me a notification if the code returns an error. Do you know a Quick and Dirty way to do this, without setting up frameworks and autotest environments? If not, do you know some good and simple explanations about the use of PHPUnit?
