Is there a way to handle picture in picture mode of chrome in selenium or using javascript?

I have website similar to youtube which has picture in picture mode for video. I need to verify whether its possible to play or pause it.But inspect element is not working since its not part of DOM. Is there a way to click in it either using selenium, javascript or any other application
