Without diving too much into trade secrets and such, I am really curious how test automation tools extract object level information from an application under test. From what I research online from the MS Automation documentation, the tool would have to interact with the client API layer of MS automation? I read elsewhere that some tools inject their own methods to extract that information as a hierarchy?
