Is there an application that can generate optimized test scripts for user acceptance testing purposes for a database?

So I am working with a propietary database application that, apart from a built in tool that generates a category for each record, is mainly used for collecting and storing (manually inputted)data for each record.
We always run into trouble when updating said application as the UAT test scripts are all manually generated and are never able to fully capture every scenario possible. To put into perspective, the application has hundreds of potential data points, some which have fixed values and some are free text. The fixed value ones are the ones that typically cause errors, but again, some have over 100+ possible values each.

So, my question is, is there an application out there that can automate the generation of test scripts and thru some sort of supervised learning perhaps, generate a sampling of optimized test cases?
