How can I implement PyOTP into RobotFramework and use it to generate one time passwords for testing?

I am testing a web app with RobotFramework and I am required to enter a second factor code in order to login. I currently enter the second factor code manually from Google Authenticator app. It was suggested that I should use https://pyotp.readthedocs.io/en/latest/, but I don't know how to implement it in Python and make it work with RobotFramework. The instructions on the link are not very clear to me. Any ideas or other suggestions?
