Is there an update on the implementation of .disablePageReloads in Testcafe?

Last year I heard that this is just an experimental feature and it does not support concurrency.

If it has not been implemented what are people's suggestions for this please:

I have a long user story where I fill in many boxes and drop downs on a webpage and import images and videos etc etc. I can't reload the page because I'd lose everything.

The answer seemed to be .disablePageReloads, as this allows me to split the user story into tests.

Is there any other way around it?
