Pixel 2 - Does the OS have out-of-app memory?

I'm using a Pixel 2 as my test device and daily driver. However unlike my other 6.0.1 and 5.0.1 test devices it seems to have remembered that I agreed to my app TOS and won't show it on reinstall + it's now opening into staging server on install instead of production ( which makes it bedevelling to figure out what the client build is pointed to before shipping live )

Anyone else have this issue or am I going crazy

Uninstall should clear all app data - and there should not be anything left over that remembers TOS accept or server configs amr?

I'm assuming it's some Pixel OS specific feature that 'conveniently' remembers app configurations outside of apps ( maybe on your profile ) and 'remembers' them when the app is reinstalled on the device

What do you think?

My app is here if you want to attempt a repro in your own Pixel by accepting my TOS and then uninstalling reinstalling and opening the app again ( TOS may or may not appear - even though it is coded to ways appear )
