What is the best opensource tool for load testing?

I've developed a MEAN Stack application. Now, I want to run simulated tests for multiple concurrent users (up to 200 users), to check how the server responds. Which tool works great in this scenario? I have Apache Jmeter and locust under consideration. Please help me in selecting the tool. Any help would be appreciated!!.
