iOS (Specifically iOS 9) device farm recommendations or alternatives?

My situation is such that I'm stuck having to use a "device farm" (I believe that's the coinage being used).

However, I feel limited in the options. AWS wants a credit card before you trail their solution so before I went to the trouble to do so I wanted to hear about anybody else's experiences?

Are there alternatives, easier options, or is it worthwhile to go AWS?
